A landmark Dundalk pub has been sold for a princely sum

Property Partners Laurence Gunne have sold, prior to auction, Brian McEntegart, 100 Park Street, Dundalk for a sum believed to be in the region of €650,000.  

This landmark licensed premises which has been in the McEntegart family since 1923 occupied a prime position in Dundalk with extensive street frontage on Park Street, one of Dundalk’s main thoroughfares.  The property comprised ground floor bar/lounge together with substantial overhead living accommodation, yard, out-offices and stores.

PJ Roddy of Property Partners Laurence Gunne who negotiated the sale said, ‘the sale of this famous licensed premises highlights the growing activity in the commercial and licensed property market being experienced at present and illustrates the popularity of Dundalk, and Park Street in particular, as a sought after location.’  The sale is of significant importance in the licensed sector in terms of transactions.
