Two men due in court over aggravated burglary in Cork earlier this year

Two men are due before Cork District Court this Wednesday morning in connection with an aggrevated burglary in Cork city earlier this year.

The aggravated burglary took place at a property on Millerd Street in Cork in the early hours of the morning on April 17, 2024.

A sum of cash was reported stolen and the three occupants in the house, two women and a man, were injured during the incident.

They were taken to Cork University Hospital where they received treatment for injuries which were understood to be "serious but not life-threatening".

Gardaí arrested and charged two men, aged in their 30s and 40s part of the investigation.

Both men are due to appear before Cork District Court this Wednesday morning, September 25, at approximately 11.30am.
