Last year's Forever Young Festival
The organisers of the Forever Young Festival have confirmed that they are fully reopen for business after day ticket holders were unable to attend the event yesterday, due to adverse weather.
Sunday is the final day of the three-day event which features some of the most popular acts from the 1980s.
"All Saturday tickets will be valid for Sunday. Our teams here and the amazing Palmerstown House Estate have moved mountains to keep Forever Young Festival 23 alive and I can't thank them enough," organiser Dr Sharon Alston confirmed in a statement on their website.
"We hope to see you all today but if that doesn't suit, all Saturday tickets will be valid for 2024, and all weekend non camping will receive the equivalent of a free day next year. If that doesn't suit our valued customers, we will handle all refund requests next week. We hope to bring specific acts people missed today, back in 24," Sharon said.
"Your patience and understanding has been genuinely appreciated in this terrible situation. We will look after everyone, I promise. I really hope we can all have an amazing day," she added.
There were many comments on social media, with many thanking those on site who worked tirelessly to ensure people could get their cars out of a very muddy car park.

The heavy downpours caused the organisers to take the decision to close festival to those with day tickets for Saturday, and run the event with a reduced attendance on Saturday after heavy overnight showers on Friday night, and into the Saturday.
Artists to feature on Sunday include ABC, Midge Ure and Soul II Soul.
