The crucial score of the half came from the boot of Conor Robinson as his goal put the hosts 1-3 to no score in front at the break.

Clan na Gael 1-8 Nh Fionnbarra 0-10
Clan na Gael may only have scored one second-half point, but it proved decisive as the Dundalk side edged this Kevin Mullen Shield Group 4 encounter on Sunday morning.
Robbie Curran provided the score from a 13m free to hold off a Barrs revival and give his team a second victory of the campaign.
Clans were quickest out of the blocks with the first three points of the game scored by the corner forwards Evan Corrigan and from Jason Cullen (2) before the Barrs registered their first score of the game on the 14th minute through William Woods.
Jack Murtagh and Niall McCreesh were also on target for the visitors, but the Clans finished the half on top, and Robbie Curran’s goal, along with points from Gavin Gaffey and Shane Carroll, had the hosts leading by 1-8 to 0-5 at the break.
With Woods in fine form in the second half, the Barrs began to reel the Clans in, but crucially couldn’t get their noses in front, and Curran landed the decisive score to give his side victory.

O’Connell’s 0-18 Na Piarsaigh Blackrock 0-8
O’Connell’s marked their first home game of the season with a ten-point win over Na Piarsaigh Blackrock in Group 4 of the Kevin Mullen Shield on Sunday morning.
With both teams having already been eliminated from contention of getting out of the group, this game served as a battle for pride on a windy Mother’s Day in Castlebellingham.
O’Connell’s started the game very strongly, scoring nine points without reply with the aid of a strong breeze, with all nine scores coming from the boot of talismanic forward Robert Quigley.
Including three two-pointers, Quigley’s points fired O’Connell’s into a commanding position as Na Piarsaigh only managed a single point on the stroke of half-time, leaving the hosts 0-9 to 0-1 ahead at the break.
O’Connell’s started the second half in a similar scoring fashion, with Niall Conlon and Stuart Osborne both pinging over scores inside the first 90 seconds.
The visitors would get a score of their own before points from Robert Quigley, Niall Conlon and Jackie Agnew put O’Connell’s ahead 0-14 to 0-2 at the end of the third quarter.
Na Piarsaigh were not going to go down without a fight; however, hitting back-to-back two-pointers from Ciaran Murphy to cut the hosts' lead down to eight points, but this would be the closest they would get to a comeback, as scores from Niall Conlon and three more from Robert Quigley ensured that O’Connell’s came away the victors.
Ciaran Murphy top-scored for the visitors with six points while Robbie Murphy and Conall Shields were also on target.
O’Connell’s: Johnathan Brennan; Nathan Carragher, Jack McGeough, Sam Shearman; Adam Flynn, Stuart Osborne (0-1), Joshua Horwell; Cailum Woods, Jackie Agnew (0-1); Rian McKeever, Niall Conlon (0-3), Alan McGovern; Cathal O’Brien, Robert Quigley (0-13), Evan Kearney.
