Louth senior football manager, Gavin Devlin, has named his team for tonight’s meeting against Westmeath at St Loman’s GAC, Mullingar at 7.30pm.

Seven players keeping their places from the McGeough Cup game against Down last week. Emmet Carolan, Peter Lynch, Padraig Tinnelly, Conall McKeever, Conor Early, Liam Jackson and Conall McCaul all keep their place in the starting fifteen.

U20 goalkeeper Tiernan Markey steps in for his senior start, while Naomh Máirtín captain Eoghan Callaghan makes a return for the Wee County for the first time since 2022.

Lynch moves to full-back alongside Carolan and Tinnelly, while 2025 Player of the Year McKeever drops into the half-back line. Callaghan anchors the defence at centre-back, with Craig Lennon also returning after missing the Down fixture.

Conor Early partners Paul Mathews in midfield, while Liam Jackson and Ciarán Downey are named in attack. Ciarán Byrne also comes in, while Seán Reynolds and Ryan Burns complete the full-forward line alongside McCaul.
