Members of CúChulainn Archers had another busy weekend with two different competitions awaiting them.

First up was a trip to Belfast for a combined competition, with a Stafford in the morning followed by the Tom McKenna Memorial Portsmouth in the afternoon.

These were hosted by the combined efforts of NCIS Archery Club and the East Belfast Archery Club. A good day was had by all with medals gained and some personal best scores as well.

Competing for CúChulainn were:

Master Men Compound, Paul McClelland, Gold Medal and the Tom McKenna Memorial Trophy; Master Women Compound, JoAnn Bell, Gold Medal.

Traditional Men, Mark Young, Gold Medal; Master Men Barebow, Peter Gilmore, Gold Medal; Senior Men Barebow, Neil Keeble, Gold Medal.

A great result with five gold medals plus the Memorial Trophy from just five members of the club. Congratulations all.

Sunday's direction was west to Omagh in Co. Tyrone to compete in the Drumquin Archery Club's Double IFAA Indoor competition.

The results were as follows:

Senior Men Barebow:- Neil Keeble again took the Gold; Compound Senior Men, Gilbert McClelland took Silver; Compound Adult, Philip Fitzpatrick also took Silver.
