Hilliard names Louth hurling team to take on Monaghan

The Louth senior hurling team in a pre-match huddle ahead of their victory over Fermanagh.

Louth senior hurling manager Trevor Hilliard has named his team to take on Monaghan in the Allianz National Hurling League, Division 4, Round 2, fixture at St. Mellan's Park, Truagh, on Saturday afternoon.

The Wee County make only one change from the side that won their opening round game against Fermanagh last weekend with Seán Flynn starting in place of David Stephenson.

The Louth team has been named as: 1. Conor Clancy (c); 2. Andrew Smyth, 3. Conor Quigley, 4. Stephen Kettle; 5. Mark Gahan, 6. Leon Fox, 7. Aaron McGuinness; 8. Ben Goss-Kieran, 9. Peter Fortune; 10. Adam Plunkett, 11. Seán Flynn, 12. Darren Geoghegan; 13. John Casey, 14. Conor Murphy, 15. James Costello.

Substitutes: 16. Ricky McKeown, 17. James Murphy, 18. Seán McGuill, 19. David Stephenson, 20. Seán Hodgins, 21. Brian Corcoran, 22. Sam Phelan, 23. Jake McNamara, 24. James Byrne, 25. Tadhg Dowdall, 26. Thomas McCreesh.

Arthur Hughes has yet to name his Monaghan team.
