Local band The Curtain Thieves have entered into an agreement with Irish Record Label, Ruby Music and have gained their support on a number of projects over the coming months.
The label, who currently have bands such as Ka Tet and Dem Fools on their books, are eager to get started with the band and will kick start projects with them from as soon as next week.
The first thing that Ruby Music will be doing with The Curtain Thieves is an online campaign to better promote the bands previous recordings.
With their own “Artists” page on the Ruby Music website which will have the bands biography and places to listen to their music online, the band can already expect to gain a few new followers.
On top of that, Ruby music will be taking the reins with the promotion of the band’s “Basement Sessions” (a series of home recorded videos and songs the band will be releasing online) before being officially welcomed to the label with a performance at their annual Christmas get together.
It is not determined yet what will come next in the partnership between Ruby Music and The Curtain Thieves but both parties envisage exciting and lucrative times ahead.
