Cavan-born singer Lisa O’Neill will play Dundalk quayside venue the Spirit Store on Valentine’s Day, Friday, 14 February.
The folk singer started writing songs and music at an early age in her native Ballyhaise in Co. Cavan before she moved to Dublin, aged 18, to study music on a full time basis.
Early on she was welcomed into the folk and traditional scene in pubs and venues around the city and set her apart as a unique talent.
The 31 year old now has two albums under her belt and over the last couple of years she has toured North America, Canada, Europe Scotland and the UK, opening for David Gray, Mick Flannery, Angel Olsen as well as Glen Hansard and Sixto Rodriquez along the way. Definitely not an act to be missed.
Tickets are €13.50 and can be purchased online at www.spiritstore.ie or from McAteers Food House.
