Spend an evening in the company of Oscar Wide when Matt Murphy and Stephen Burns take to the stage in The Space, at The Town Hall, Dundalk at 8pm on October 3 and 4 in “The Importance of Being Wilde”.
The production is based on the writings of one of Ireland’s greatest literary figures, Oscar Wilde.
The evening opens as two actors open their script to prepare a show, they take you on a journey through Wilde’s many triumphs, trials and tribulations, from his early childhood in Dublin to his final years in France, introducing the motley crew of characters that make up this highly entertaining life.
This is truly not an evening to be missed where you can sit back and enjoy the sparkling humour, razor sharp wit, glittering conversation and charisma of the great writer.
