  • Louth County Council has announced that a memorial, celebrating the life and legacy of the late Liam Reilly, renowned singer-songwriter and frontman of Bagatelle, will be unveiled on Friday 20 February, on Earl Street, Dundalk.
  • A local farmer who claimed he was 'squeaky clean' while being interviewed about a €1.6 million drug seizure on his property was convicted by a jury following a trial at Dundalk Circuit Court last week.
  • Recent flooding in Dundalk has been described as a "crisis" by Fianna Fáil councillor Shane McGuinness who warned the problem would be further worsened as house-building continues to ramp up.
