The Louth Cerebral Palsy Group has been shortlisted for the 2026 PTSB Community Funding campaign, giving local residents the chance to support the charity in this year’s public vote. The campaign, which has already contributed over €2.5 million to Irish community organisations, invites members of the public to help select six official PTSB Community partners by voting online or via the PTSB app before voting closes on 22 February.

Following a PTSB colleague-led nominations process, 15 charities from across the country have been shortlisted for public vote, with 5 charities shortlisted in the North and West:

  • The Alzheimer Society of Ireland
  • Cavan Autism Parents Support
  • ICARE
  • Louth Cerebral Palsy Group
  • SOSAD Ireland

15 charities from across the country have been shortlisted for public vote. The two charities who receive the highest number of votes in each region will become the official PTSB Community partners for 2026. Voting closes on 22 February and the public are encouraged to support the charity of their choice by voting at www.ptsb.ie/Community or in the PTSB app.

PTSB’s Head of Sustainability, Courtnee Kyle, said:

“PTSB Community is about bringing people and communities together for social good. For us, it’s about supporting the work of charities that strengthen towns, neighbourhoods and families across Ireland, helping them to scale their impact where it matters most.

This year, we’re proud to once again launch the PTSB Community public vote, encouraging the people of Ireland to help us select our partners for 2026. We’ve seen first-hand how this support can make a real difference in our communities, and we’re excited to build on that momentum and make further progress in the year ahead.”

To date, PTSB Community Funding campaign has already contributed more than €2.5 million to a variety of community organisations, supporting vital work at local and national level across the country.”

PTSB ambassador and presenter, Eric Roberts, who also welcomed the launch, said:

“Local charities play a vital role in supporting communities across Ireland. PTSB Community gives people a meaningful way to get behind good causes close to home and helps charities continue their essential work where it’s needed most.”

Last week, the Bank provided €270,000 in funding to its six 2025 PTSB Community partners. Last year’s community partners from the North and West included Accessible Counselling Tullamore and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
