Amanda Branigan, County Librarian and Head of Cultural Services at Louth County Council
Louth County Council Library Service will hold a public consultation on the future of library services in the county.
The consultation will help shape its new Development Programme for 2026-2030, which will guide the future of library services in Louth.
Amanda Branigan, County Librarian and Head of Cultural Services at Louth County Council, said: “Our new, five-year Library Development Programme is all about creating spaces, services, and opportunities that truly meet the needs of people in Louth.
“Libraries are at the heart of our communities, and this is a chance for the public to tell us what matters most - whether it’s new technology, community events, or somewhere to read, learn and be creative.
“We would encourage everyone to get involved, have their say and help us build a library service for everyone.”
