There was a great turnout at the Market Square in Dundalk last Thursday night for the St Patrick's Scout Group 1st/2nd/5th Louth, annual Good Deeds Collection and carol service. The event takes place each year, and it sees the scouts bring a small food hamper each to the event which are then presented to Save Our Homeless Dundalk

The scout group was joined on the night by family, friends, local, councillors, as well as a special visit by the Big Man himself, Santa! The night also saw member Gerry Byrne being presented with his 35 year service pin.
St Patrick's Scout Group thanked all those who turned up on the night on social media, including, “Andrew Mc Manus and his team of Rovers and leaders for planning the event, and to Stephen from Panama, Dave O'Higgins from Higco sound and lighting, St Malachys girl choir and their teachers, and Cllrs Sean Kelly, Ciaran Fisher and Robert Nash.
