Dundalk Lions Club raise over €7k for childhood cancer charity

The Dundalk Lions Club raised €7,200 for Childhood Cancer Ireland from two fundraising events.

The donations for Childhood Cancer Ireland, which provides practical and emotional support to children, adolescents and young adults with cancer, survivors and their families, were raided from a coffee morning and table quiz.

Local people should great supprot attending the coffee morning in The Rum House and the table quiz in Kennedy's Bar.

The Dundalk Lions Club's president Matt Pepper and event organiser Kieran Clarke recently presented the cheque for €7,200 to Rebecca Maher of Childhood Cancer Ireland.

Dundalk Lions Club said they wished to thank local people for their great generosity.

“Our thanks to Adrienne Kehoe and Eugene Mc Geough for facilitating the fundraiser”, a Dundalk Lions Club spokesperson continued.

“And thank you to all the volunteers who give their time for this worthy cause.”
