Plans underway for 91 houses and eight duplex units
Louth County Council has granted planning permission for 99 new homes at Lisdoo in Dundalk.
Lajona Limited applied in June of this year, for planning permission for the development on a site of 3.26 hectares, in the townland of Lisdoo at, Armagh Road, Dundalk.
The planned development consists of 99 residential units, comprising 91 houses, including four, two-bed; 57 three-bed; and 30 four-bed units; along with eight duplex units arranged in two three-storey blocks, which would comprise four one-bed and four two-bed units.
The application also provides for items including ancillary open space; associated car and cycle parking; boundary treatment, public open space and landscaping; an ESB sub-station; two vehicular access off the Armagh Road; a shared pedestrian / cycle facility along the Armagh Road; and all associated site and infrastructural works.
A decision had initially been due on the application in August but it was put on hold following the request from Louth County Council in August for further information on the proposed development.

Following the submission by Lajona Limited of further information on 17 October, Louth County Council granted planning permission on 2 December, subject to 24 planning conditions.
