Conditional planning permission granted
Louth County Council has granted planning permission for 33 new homes in Dromiskin.
Padraig Hand applied for planning permission in May of this year, for the development at Model Farm Road, Dromiskin, seeking the go ahead for 33 two storey residential dwellings, comprising 11 three-bed units and 22 four-bed units.
Plans for associated car parking via in-curtilage parking are included in the application as well as the provision of electric vehicle charge points with associated site infrastructure ducting to provide charge points for residents throughout the site; the creation of a new access point from the Model Farm Road to facilitate vehicular, pedestrian and cycle access; and the provision of internal access roads and footpaths and associated works.
The application also provides for items including the provision of new public amenities to include for public open space to incorporate a football pitch; new boundary treatments; footpaths, surface water drainage all associated / ancillary landscaping and site development works.

A decision had initially been due on the application in June of this year, but Louth County Council sought further information on the planned development. Following the submission of extra information on 8 October, planning permission was granted on 28 October, subject to 22 planning conditions.
