Tesco has launched a significant festive recruitment drive as it seeks to fill over 1,100 temporary roles across Ireland this Christmas, including 42 jobs for Louth, saying it offers flexible opportunities for those seeking work during the busy season.
Applications are now open through the Tesco website for those interested in applying.

Maurice Kelly, People Director at Tesco Ireland, commented: “We’re delighted to be creating over 1,100 festive roles across the country this Christmas. These roles will support our existing colleagues to help us deliver the best possible service to customers throughout the festive season and provide new team members with access to an industry-leading benefits package from day one.
"If you’re not already part of the team and are looking for extra hours or want to give retail a try, this is a fantastic time to join our team and make a real difference in your local community.”
Positions are available nationwide, and Tesco encourages interested candidates to apply online as soon as possible. After Christmas, temporary colleagues will have the opportunity to apply for available permanent roles in existing stores or new Tesco locations planned for the coming year.
