Gardaí in Dundalk have seized a vehicle that was found parked illegally in a disabled parking bay on Clanbrassil Street.
Gardaí discovered that the car not only occupied a parking space reserved for people with disabilities but was also untaxed.
The vehicle was seized and the owner issued with a fine.
Parking in a disabled bay without a valid permit is an offence under road traffic regulations, which can result in a fine, penalty points or vehicle seizure.
