The temporary facilities will remain in place for a 20-week period
With the busy summer season fast approaching, local Councillor Declan Power has announced a series of improvements to public toilet facilities at Clogherhead beach, aiming to accommodate the expected increase in visitors.
Councillor Power confirmed that two to three additional porta-loos will be installed in the beach car park this Friday. The temporary facilities will remain in place for a 20-week period, extending through to the end of September.
“I’ve been working closely with Louth County Council over the past two weeks to enhance our Clogherhead beach toilet facilities and arrange extra porta-loos,” said Cllr. Power.
“I’ll continue to push for upgrades to our existing public toilets as well,” he added.
