If you live and work within 8mins of our stations, you can be the next member of the local crew.

Louth Fire & Rescue is currently recruiting for new retained firefighters to join their growing team, across their stations in Ardee, Carlingford , Dunleer, Drogheda and Dundalk.

A spokesperson for Louth Fire Service said:

“Do you want to make a difference?  We have an exciting opportunity for you! As a firefighter, you will be on the front lines, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of your community. You will receive extensive training in fire fighting, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and emergency medical services.

“If you are looking for a new challenge, a rewarding career and an opportunity to make a difference you can  be a firefighter. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential in this role. We offer competitive salaries, flexible on call arrangements, opportunities for growth and learning new skills.

Ardee  A92 TP48.  Mondays 18:30 - 19:00

Carlingford  A91 VK23. Mondays 18:00 -18:30

Dunleer A92 E433 Mondays 18:30 - 19:00

Drogheda A92 VW93 Tuesdays 17:30 - 18:00

Dundalk A91 HY04 Tuesdays 17:30 -18:00
