Plans underway for major housing development in mid-Louth

Plans are underway for a significant housing development in Dunleer, that if given the go ahead will see the construction of 84 new houses in the mid-Louth town.

Lorrac Developments Ltd has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the development at the Dundalk Road, Mountaintown, Dunleer, Co Louth, seeking the go ahead to construct the development, which includes a creche, on a site of approximately 3.08 hectares.

The proposed 84 houses comprise 18 two-bed, 52 three-bed and 14 four-bed units. The planning application also provides for all associated site development works including landscaping, boundary treatments, footpaths, internal access roads, public lighting, foul and surface water drainage.
