Dundalk Show Society announces date for 2025 show

Sunday June 8th is the date for the 2025 Dundalk Show which will be held at Bellurgan Park. Dundalk Show Society CLG has confirmed that planning for this year's show has already begun, following the recent AGM and the election of officers.

Those elected are as follows. Honourary Presidents: Dermot Hanratty, Georgina Whyte, Seamus Lambe; Chairperson - Michael Roddy; Vice-Chairperson - Sandra Byrne; Secretary/Treasurer - Sharon Eveson; Assistant Treasurer - Dessie Mc Gahon; PRO - Nicholas Duff; Social Media Officer - Tori Eveson; Safety Officer - Dermot Hanratty; Child Safety Officer - Erin Mc Greehan TD.

Those who are looking after the different sections are as follows: Home Industries - Georgina Whyte; Poultry - Dessie Mc Gahon; Horses - Gro Hylen; Cattle - Michael Roddy; Sheep - John Wehrly; Dogs - Dellemar Keane; Trade Stands - Tori Eveson; Traffic Management - Patrick Byrne; Competitions Officer-Sandra Byrne.

Following the success of last year's show, Dundalk Show Society CLG says it looks forward to an even better one this year, and will soon have the show schedule prepared detailing all the classes for the 2025 Show. More details in due course. The society adds that new members are also very welcome.
