A GoFundMe page has been set up to support a Louth family following the sad and sudden death of beloved wife and mother, Mary.
Mary Perkins (née Bell) passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at her home last Friday, November 8.
The donation page has been set up by a family friend who is kindly asking if anyone is in a position to help, it would be greatly appreciated by the heartbroken and bereft family.
The statement on the page reads,
"Hi my name is Gerry and I am fundraising on behalf of my best friend Des and his family.
"Sadly on Friday Des and his children's world was shattered by the sudden passing of his beautiful wife and best friend Mary. Des and Mary are from Dundalk and have lived all their lives so as a community we want to show our support through these tragic and hard times ahead.
"Thank you all for your support."
The page has already raised €725 with a goal to reach €1000.
