Planning permission sought for 91 new houses
Plans are underway for 91 new houses at Haynestown just outside Dundalk.
Groveview Builders Ltd has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the development at lands to the east of the Western Relief Road, south of the Marlbog Road and north of Wadman Park, Raynoldstown Village, Haynestown, Dundalk.
The proposed development comprises: four, end of terrace, two storey, three-bedroom dwellings; 53, terraced, two storey, three-bedroom dwellings; 15, semi-detached, two storey, three-bedroom dwellings; two detached, two storey, three-bedroom dwellings; seven detached, two storey, four bedroom dwelling; and ten semi-detached, two-storey, four-bedroom dwellings.
The application also provides for all associated ancillary site development works, boundary treatments, landscaping, open spaces and ESB sub-station on lands of circa 3.18Ha. Planning permission for development at this location was previously granted in 2005.
A decision is due from Louth County Council on the application by 17 December, with submissions due by 26 November 2024.
