On Friday March 22nd, they will be hosting a fitness-focused event
Local company ZOMA have announced an upcoming fundraiser in honour of Daffodil Day, a cause which they say is close to their hearts, especially over the last year with the loss of their Managing Director's mother back in June 2023.
On Friday March 22nd, they will be hosting a fitness-focused event, where they hope to get people to help raise funds for Daffodil Day, an initiative dedicated to providing care, support, and hope to those affected by cancer.
In the heart of Dundalk, at 82 Park St, right outside the ZOMA office they will be setting up an area with Exercise/Concept Erg Machines (Bike/Row/Ski) and for every kilometre they collectively reach during the fitness event, ZOMA will donate €4 for each kilometre to Daffodil Day.
The target is 820km, to book in its €10 and this donation will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society. You will also receive a branded t-shirt for the event.
A spokesperson said: “Not only will you be participating in a fun and invigorating activity, but you'll also be contributing directly to a worthy cause. We will also be hosting other challenges on the day of the event to raise awareness and funds like a hanging challenge and pull up challenge.
“We will also be looking for sponsors on the day and will be highlighting these sponsors on the boarding around the machines and equipment and across social media and press/media releases.
“We invite you to join us in this endeavour and make a positive impact in the fight against cancer. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to get active for a good cause, your participation matters greatly.”
