Louth GAA have confirmed that Chairman Peter Fitzpatrick has withdrawn his resignation as County Board Chairman and will now lead a delegation to Croke Park this afternoon.
There had been reports yesterday that the former Louth bainisteoir had resigned following a meeting in Darver on Sunday with Fitzpatrick and Louth GAA unable to be reached for comment.
In a statement issued on Twitter, Louth GAA said:
"Louth GAA Chairperson Peter Fitzpatrick had tendered his resignation on Sunday night but following discussions in the last 24 hours, he has withdrawn his resignation and will lead delegation to Croke Park this afternoon."
