Louth County Council has confirmed that Clanbrassil Street in Dundalk is the location for the walkabout of the President of the United States Joe Biden tomorrow, Wednesday.
People wanted to attend the historic occasion are being asked to be in place on Clanbrassil Street no later than 5.30pm tomorrow evening.
Residents and visitors are very welcome to attend and celebrate the historic occasion of a US President coming back to visit his ancestral county, a spokesperson for Louth County Council said.
There is expected to be high security in operation and people are being advised not to carry bags of any sort, as is normal in such circumstances.
And motorists are being asked to take note of Garda Síochána guidance on traffic.
