Dundalk band makes weddingsonline Band of the Year shortlist

Local band, Long Time Coming have been shortlisted in the Band of The Year category in the 2023 weddingsonline awards. The awards, now in their 14th year, were set up to recognise excellence within the wedding sector and to reward those businesses that stand out from the crowd.

Alan Foran has been performing in the wedding industry for 26 years, he and his band Long Time Coming, have been entertaining and filling dancefloors for hundreds of happy brides and grooms throughout all of Ireland.

Everyone remembers the food and entertainment at a wedding, and Long Time Coming ensure that all bases are covered with music genres and styles, covering all the party hits to suit young and old, as well as providing an interactive and exciting show, paired with the best stage and lighting set up in the country.

Commenting on the awards, Alan said, “We are over the moon to be selected for this years weddingsonline 'Band of the year' awards, it's recognition of all the hard graft the team put in on stage and behind the scenes to make sure all of our couples are happy for what is the biggest day of their lives.”

He added, “It's such an honour to be in the running alongside some of the other best bands in Ireland. To actually win would be the icing on the cake.”

The winners of the 2023 weddingsonline Awards will be announced on Monday 27th March 2023.
