Dundalk Sub Aqua Search and Rescue brave chilly waters of Carlingford Lough

A group of divers attached to Dundalk Sub Aqua Search and Rescue Unit, braved the chilly waters of Carlingford Lough on Sunday morning for some training.

They successfully completed a 30min dive with the temperature on the surface was 2°, while below the temp was 5°.

While it was bitter cold the underwater rescue divers take their diving extremely seriously, & are always aware of possible dangers.

DSAC train & practice all year round & work with all emergency agencies throughout the island of Ireland and are also on standby should our services be required.
