A Dundalk photographer has launched a new collection of 2023 calendars, featuring iconic landmarks from around Dundalk and its surrounding areas.
Darran Rafferty, who runs DundalkPhotos.com, is launching the Dundalk Calendar for its ninth year, which features photos of The Redemptorist, Ice house Hill, the Brewery, and the Christmas Tree at the square.
The calendar also features '12 Dundalk Facts'.
These calendars proved to be very popular over the last few years with copies shipped all over the world to Dundalk expats.
The Navvybank Calendar is also back this year and has a collection of pictures from different photographers from the area.
For the Navvybank Calendar, €5 from each sale will go towards SOSAD Dundalk.
This year there is also a Cooley Peninsula Calendar 2023.
This has some amazing photos of the area including The Brown Bull, the Famine Village, Finn the Dolphin and Grange Church.
Alongside the Dundalk, Navvybank and Cooley Peninsula calenders, there is also a Blackrock Calendar 2023.
According to Darran, some of the photos were taken by his dad, Pat Rafferty, who he says works in Blackrock and always has his camera ready to get some great snaps. Interesting facts about Blackrock also accompany each month.
The calendars can be ordered on Darrna's website www.dundalkphotos.com and are available in the following local stores - Mc Evoys, Londis in the Quay, River Roe Bookshop, Grants Newsagents, Coffee Time, 23 Seats, The Home Bakery, Super Value, Centra Blackrock, Mace on the Carrick Road, The Crafty Rock and Carlingford Post Office and other shops in the Cooley Peninsula.
