Brenda Mc Carthy Community Fundraiser Irish Cancer Society, receiving the collection total from Pat Byrne President Dundalk Lions
This year’s Dundalk Daffodil Day collection raised almost €24,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
Dundalk Lions Club organised this year’s local Daffodil Day collection on 25th March.
This was part of the largest annual single fundraising activity for the Irish Cancer Society, which aims to eliminate cancer and improve the lives of people with cancer.
Dundalk Lions thank the generosity of the people in and around Dundalk who donated a magnificent €23,939.
Dundalk Lions would also like to thank the 57 Volunteers who give their time on the day.
The event would not have been possible without the help of Louth Volunteers, ICS Louth and Lions friends and members.
Thanks also to the many local business owners and venues who provided Collection Points.
