Patients are waiting over ten hours for beds at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda according to figures released by the Irish Times.
On average patients waited 10.6 hours to be admitted to Drogheda Hospital in the first quarter of this year.
The figures for 2022 are a sharp increase on previous wait times with patients waiting 8.2 hours in 2021 and 6.9 hours in 2020.
Nationally, 40% of patients are waiting twelve hours or more for hospital admission.
