Number of one off houses granted planning in Louth in 2021 doubled
The number of one off houses granted planning permission in Louth in 2021 is more than double the number granted planning in 2020, according to recently released statistics from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Planning permission was granted in Louth last year for 253 one off houses. This is more than double the 125 granted planning permission in the county in 2020 and over 100 more than the 149 granted planning permission in 2019.
There was also an increase last year in the number of private flats/apartments granted planning in Louth last year, with permission given for 534, up from 501 in 2020 and 509 in 2019.
There was a fall however in Louth last year, in the number of multi development houses granted planning permission in 2021. Planning was granted last year for 162 multi development houses, down from 501 in 2020 and 540 in 2019.
In total, planning permission was granted for 949 dwelling units in Louth last year, comprising 415 houses and 534 apartments.
