Louth homeless figures fell again slightly in November
Louth has seen a fall in the numbers accessing local authority managed emergency accommodation for a fourth month, albeit a small one, according to the Department of Housing, Planning & Local Government Homelessness Report November 2019, released this evening.
127 adults accessed managed emergency accommodation in November, down from 131 in October, 155 in September and 170 in August.
Three adults were recorded as homeless in Monaghan, the same as reported in October, and 11 in Cavan, up from 10 in October.
The number of homeless families in the North East (Louth, Monaghan and Cavan) in November was 20, down from 27 in October.
Nationally, 6696 adults and 3752 dependants accessed local authority managed emergency accommodation in November, giving a total of 10,448 homeless people according to the report, down from 10,514 in October.
