The death has occurred of Margaret Cranny (née Doherty) of Rockmarshall, Jenkinstown, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in the care of her daughter, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Peter, dear mother of Aidan, Rosetta (Mulrey), Cathal and Turlough and adored nanny of Simon, Pearse, Cara, Niamh, Ella-May, Erin, Sarah, Max and James.

She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Alidea, Catherine and Elaine, son-in-law Alan, sisters Teresa and Ann, brothers Dessie and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her daughter, 6 Clois na Rian, Rampark, Jenkinstown (Eircode A91 HF61) from 7pm on Wednesday.

Removal on Friday at 10.30am, to St. Mary's Church, Lordship, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Lordship Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the North Louth Hospice Foundation and The Birches c/o Quinn's Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Geraldine Cunningham (née Rafferty) of Irish Grange, Carlingford, Louth

Peacefully, in the care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Fergal and doting mum to Baby Liam.

She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son, parents Hugh and Liz, brother Paul, sister Noeleen, nephews Dillon and Paul, relatives, friends and a large family circle.

Reposing at her home from 2pm to 9pm on Thursday and Friday.

Removal on Saturday to St. James' Church, Grange, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Please note: Car parking is provided on the R173 at Eircode A91 W861 (close to Cooley Parochial House). A shuttle service will operate betweeen here and the family home from 2pm-9pm.

The death has occurred of Miriam Dowdall of 2 St. Ronan's Terrace, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Cherished daughter of the late Molly & Paddy.

Miriam will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving sister Briege, brothers Anthony, Brian and Patrick, brother-in-law Kevin, sisters-in-law Catriona, Philomena and Anne, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved her. 

Reposing in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk today Thursday between 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock.

Removal from her residence on Friday morning walking to the Church of Holy Redeemer, Dundalk arriving for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass. Followed by burial in Kilcurry Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Paul Keegan of Ballypark, Drogheda and formerly of Rutland, Massachusetts

On September 10 2019, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after battlening his illness to the very end. Paul, beloved husband to Michelle and loving dad to Liam, Niall, Niamh, Andrew, Grace and Amelia.

Very sadly missed by his wife, family, mam Veronica, dad Maurice, sisters Gillian, Shirley and Joanne, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, relatives and a large circle of friends. 

Reposing at his home from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday evening and from 3pm until 8pm on Friday.

Removal on Saturday at 11am driving to St. Peter’s Church, West Street arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.

Private Cremation afterwards in Dardistown Crematorium.

On September 10 2019, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Dessie, beloved partner of Jayne, sister Isabel, brother Anthony, extended family and Natasha, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at his Home in Brookville Park, from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday and Friday evening.

Removal on Saturday morning at 11.30am driving to the Dominican Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Cremation afterwards in Dardistown Crematorium at 2.30pm.

The death has occurred of Noel Moore of Ganderstown, Clogherhead, Co. Louth

On September 11 2019, peacefully in his 82nd year at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Noel, (former Secondary School Teacher of St. Joseph’s C.B.S Drogheda), beloved husband of Maureen and loving dad to Catherine, Rory, Siobhán, Niamh and Donncha.

Very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law Ronan, daughter-in-law Rowena, grandchildren Benjamin, Hannah, Sophie, Cormac, Emma, Lydia, Cathal, Fionn and John, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at his Home from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock on Friday afternoon.

Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am driving to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Termonfeckin arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’ clock. Burial afterwards in St. Denis’s Cemetery, Clogherhead.

Suddenly, at home. Beloved husband of Monika, dear father of Rafal, Lukasz, Jessica and Kevin, son of Frank and Barbara, brother of Aga and Mariusz and grandfather of Violet.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, parents, grand daughter, sister, brother, relatives and friends.

Removal on Thursday to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sr Phyllis Heaney of Medical Missionaries of Mary, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Proudstown, Navan, Co. Meath 

On Tuesday September 10, peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, James and Lizzie and her brother Seamus (Jimmy).

Sadly missed by her brother Paddy her sister Eilish, her sisters-in-law Betty and Agnes and their families, relatives and many friends and her MMM Community. 

Reposing at the convent from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, 11th September.

Funeral Mass at 12 noon Thursday, 12th September, in the Convent followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Drogheda.

Paul McKevitt, (Retired Lecturer, IT Carlow), died September 10th 2019 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Grace and much loved father of Aoife, Aiden and Kieran and adored grandfather of Emily, Sophie, Laura, Claire, Saoirse, Finnian and Jacob.

Sadly missed by his loving family also by Mark, Katy and Shirley, brothers Frank and Kevin, sisters Marie and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

On September 10, 2019, peacefully in the loving care of all the staff at Heather House, Community Nursing Unit. Dearly beloved husband of Mary (née Dennehy), much loved father of Ann and Máire and dear brother of Colm, Una, Oliver, and the late Liam, Brendan and Máire.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, brothers, sister, son-in-law Niall, grandchildren Luke, Matthew, Jessica, Rebecca, and Ruth, great-grandaughter Isabelle, extended family and friends.
