Louth sees large increase in the number of apartment completions in first part of 2019

There has been a large increase in the number of apartments built in the first quarter of 2019 in Louth compared to the last two years, according to Central Statistics Office (CSO) figures released today.

19 apartments were completed in the first quarter of 2019 in Louth compared to five in the same period last year. 

Overall, 48 more dwellings were completed in the first quarter of 2019 than in the first quarter of 2018 - this is a 38% increase on last year.

125 scheme houses were completed in Louth in the first quarter of this year - a 30% increase on last year.

29 single houses were also completed in the county in Q1 2019 - five more than last year, representing a 21% increase on last year.

173 dwellings in total were completed in Louth in the first quarter of this year. This compares to 125 in 2018 and 78 in 2017.
