Ardee and parts of Mid-Louth to be impacted by water outage

Works to facilitate a new connection onto the public water supply will result in a water outage in Ardee from 9pm on Thursday May 16 until 6am on Friday 17 May, according to Irish Water.

The areas impacted include; Ardee Town, Stickillen, Mullanstown, Pepperstown and Blakestown.

Irish Water is encouraging customers to conserve water while these works are underway. We are urging customers to conserve water by not running taps needlessly, taking showers instead of baths and to postpone using dishwashers and washing machines where possible.

Irish Water and Louth County Council wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works.

Irihs Water's customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1850 278 278 and customers can also contact them on Twitter @IWCare with any queries. For updates please see the water supply and services section of their website.
