New open animal farm and visitor's cafe planned for Stabannon

Plans have been lodged with Louth County Council to develop a new open animal farm with visitor's cafe at Dromgoolestown, Stabannon, Co Louth.

The application which was made by Niall & Adrienne Reilly, seeking to construct a new open animal farm with associated pathways, gates and shelters, as well as a 220 sqm visitors café & farm shop at the location.

Planning for 27 car park spaces as well as alterations to existing site entrance are also included in the planning application.

A decision on the application, which is at a pre-validation stage is due by July 4, with submissions due by June 13.
