Dundalk-Carlingford councillor Edel Corrigan has hit out at illegal dumping of waste in Faughart over the past few days.

Sharing an image of the household rubbish dumped beside a gate at Faughart graveyard last night, Cllr Corrigan said:

"Disappointing to see rubbish dumped at faughart graveyard road especially as only weeks after community clean up. Anyone who sees illegal dumping or suspicious activity please report it."

To report littering or illegal dumping in your area, contact Louth County Council on 1890 202 303 or call the 24-hour National Environmental Complaints Line on 1850 365 121.
