Anyone in Dundalk looking to buy a fire engine?

Louth County Council is selling a number of used fire vehicles

Louth County Council have announced that they are selling off some of their used fire vehicles, including four located at the Dundalk Fire Station.

The Fire & Rescue section of Louth Co Council are seeking quotations for purchase of the following ex Fire Service vehicles:

  • 1999 Volvo FL614, Fire Service Emergency Tender, 133,605km. 
  • 1997 Volvo FL614, Fire Engine 
  • 1997 Mercedes 1124F, Fire Engine, 135,782km
  • 1994 Volvo FL614, Fire Engine 

For enquiries or to view these vehicles, interested parties are asked to contact Mr Mark McCann at Drogheda Fire Station on Rathmullen Road in Drogheda or call 087 2445197.

Written quotations for the vehicles are to be sent in sealed envelopes, marked ‘Purchase of Used Fire Service Vehicle’, and should be submitted to:
