REVEALED: Big names set to line out for Dundalk CBS 150 year celebration GAA match

As part of CBS' 150 year celebrations in 2019 there will be a much anticipated GAA match taking place on Saturday May 11 at the Dundalk Gaels field.

Past pupils, including many from the Leinster winning 1985 team, plus a few ex-Louth players will take on the current Colaiste Ris senior team - all under the watchful eye of referee Brian Brady.

Shane Lennon, Sean Mc Cann, Errol Boyle, David Martin, David Mc Comish, Peter Nixon, Niall Conlon, Eanna Mc Ardle, Eamon Mc Auley are among the names set to line out that day and from the 1985 team is: John Lawrence, Paul O’Connell, Brendan Prenty, Ian Mc Crory, Walter Lambert, Patrick Butterly, Gerry Curran, Aidan Markey, John Osborne, Ian McClean, Paul Litchfield, Robbie McCrave, Fiacra Bell

The managers of the current senior side will be Leslie Toal and Pat Darcy, with Wayne Kierans looking after the ex-Louth/1985 team.

At half time there will be two CBS primary schools games for boys and girls, with medal presentation to the kids after the main game.

Entry Fee - €5 for adults and free for kids.
