A Garda investigation is underway following an arson attack in Knockbridge last night, according to reports by LMFM News this morning.
According to the reports, one car was destroyed in the blaze which took place in an estate in the village, shortly after midnight. It is understood scorch damage was caused to two cars parked either side of the car that was set alight.
The cars had been parked in a communal parking area in the estate. No one was reported injured in the incident.
LMFM News says it is believed all three cars belonged to serving members of An Garda Siochána.
