Deaths in Dundalk - March 31 2019

The death has occurred of Elaine Travers (née Martin) of Lagan Court, Warrenpoint, Down and formerly of Fatima Drive, Dundalk

Peacefully in the kind and gentle care of the staff in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast surrounded by her loving family. Cherished mother of Thomas, Patrick and James.

Predeceased by her parents Maura and Paul, her dear sister Olive. Elaine will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, sisters Briege, Mary, Pauline, Marcia, Loretta and Majella, brothers Paul, Leo, Anthony and Gerard, Sister-in-law Katie, brothers-In-law her best friend Marie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her family home 25 Fatima, Drive, Dundalk from 2pm on Saturday. Removal on Monday afternoon at 1.30pm walking to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday please.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) McKay (née O'Rourke) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and late of Ardee, Co. Louth

On March 28, 2019, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the dedicated care of the staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Kevin and grandmother of the late Paul. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Jackie, Karl, Alison, Fergal and Valerie, sons-in-law David, Tom and Paul, daughter-in-law Carmel, grandchildren Robert, Shane, Lauren, Rhys, Gavin, Senan, Safron and Sage, brother Tony, sisters Geraldine and Brenda, brothers-in-law Jim and Paddy, sister-in-law Ann, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray on Sunday afternoon, March 31, from 4pm to 5pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10am in the Church of The Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by interment in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

The death has occurred of Anne Earle (née Byrne) of Waterville Crescent, Dundalk, Co. Louth, late of Tallaght and formerly of Percy Place, Dublin

Peacefully, at home surrounded by her three sons. Beloved wife of the late William “Ernie”, predeceased by her siblings Paddy and Leila, loving mother of Roy, Robert and Richard.

Anne will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, grandsons David, Brian, Mark and Matthew, daughters-in-law Paula, Margaret and Orla, sisters Maureen and Dolores, brothers Noel, Maurice and Gerard, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and friends.

 There will be a gathering of family and friends in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91PV07) on Monday afternoon between 5 o’clock and 8 o’clock.

Removal on Tuesday to Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Road, Dublin, arriving for cremation service at 2 o’clock to celebrate Anne’s life.

The death has occurred of Fr. Brian McGrath C.Ss.R. of St. Joseph's Monastery, St. Alphonsus Road, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully in the loving care of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home. Predeceased by his his brother John and sister Alma.

Deeply regretted by his brother Pat (Sutton), sister in-law Eileen, nephews John, Conor, Ronan and Brian, niece Geraldine, extended family relatives and friends, The Redemptorist Community and Confreres. 

Reposing at the Monastery St, Alphonsus Road from 5pm Saturday evening, Removal on Sunday evening to St, Joseph's Redemptorist Church for Recessional Prayers at 6.30pm,.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in St, Patrick's Cemetery Dundalk.

On Saturday March 30 2019. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, brother Friddie, sisters Mary Tuite and Briege Maguire.

He will be sadly missed by his loving brothers Paddy, Gerard and Brendan, sisters Margaret Farrell, Doreen Rogers and Bernadette Costello, brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Noeleen Moore (née Morton) of Toberona Cottages and late of St. Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully at home surrounded with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Michael and cherished mother of Gwen, Emmanuel, Mary and Jason.

Noeleen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children, grandchildren Adam, Kerri, Ben, Luke, Liam, Conor and Lisamarie, great granddaughter Laragh, brothers Eddie, Oliver and Pat, sister Vera, sons-in-law Leslie Casey and Leslie Callan, daughters-in-law Roisin and Aoife, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing at the home of her daughter Gwen and Leslie Casey 80 Castleross, Castletown Road, Dundalk on Monday from 12 o’clock.

Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30 (proceeding on foot from the St. Louis Gates) to St. Jospeh’s Church, Castletown, arriving for funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
