98 social housing units built in Louth up to end of September 2018

98 new social housing units have been completed in Louth in the first three quarters of 2018, according to the Quarter 3 2018 Social Housing Construction Projects Status Report, released today by the Department for Housing, Planning and Local Government.

The report sets out the continuing progress being made in advancing the national Local Authority and Approved Housing Body new-build construction projects.

Of the 98 new housing units completed, 12 are Local Authority new builds, 79 are Approved Housing Body constructions and seven are Part V new builds.

The social housing delivery target for Louth for 2018 was 825 units. This target has already been surpassed at the end of Q3, with 875 units completed.

742 of the 875 units in Louth (85%) are provided under HAP.
