Ever-popular Dundalk Calendar series returns this year

The Dundalk Calendar series, by local photographer Darran Rafferty, is now in its 4th year and this year captures more fantastic pictures of St.Patrick's Church, Ice House Hill, Proleek Dolmen, Clarke Station, and Roche Castle, among many other local landmarks.

According to Darran, the calendars have proven to be very popular over the last few years, with copies being shipped all over the world to Dundalk ex-pats and this year's collection features a new humourous addition - '12 Dundalk Sayings' such as 'Ah come here....will ya go away' and 'Well our fella whats the craic?'

On top of this Darran has also produced The Navvybank Calendar, now in its 6th year, and this year features some pictures from local photographer Jean Gilson, who is well know for taking wonderful snaps from all angles of the bank.

"I have also this year taken out a Blackrock Calendar for 2019", adds Darran. "Some of the photos this were taken by my dad Pat Rafferty, who works in Blackrock and always has his camera ready!"

The calendars can be ordered via www.darranrafferty.com and are available in the following local stores - Mc Evoys, Londis in the Quay, River Roe Bookshop, Costcutter, Centra Bay Estate, Grants Newsagents, Coffee Time, The Home Bakery, McCreesh Avenue Stores, Super Value, Mace Blackrock and Flanagans.
