Dundalk man banned from driving after collision at roundabout

A 41 year old man who was convicted of driving without insurance following a collision at Major’s Hollow roundabout on December 15th last year, was banned from driving for two years and fined €100 at Dundalk district court last week.

Paul McGee with an address at Chapel Street, Dundalk was also summonsed for failing to produce his insurance after he was allegedly stopped driving a Volkswagen Golf.

The court heard that only material damage was caused in the crash and the defendant had only produced his driving licence at the scene.
