Dundalk gardai are investigating an aggravated burglary which took place at a house on Tom Bellew Avenue around 9pm last night.
LMFM reports that the suspects, one male and one female, assaulted one of the occupants of the house in Waterville Crescent.
A knife is believed to have been produced by the suspects during the assault.
LMFM reports that the suspects made off in the direction of Tom Bellew Avenue.
Dundalk Gardai seized a suspect car on Waterville crescent shortly afterward.
