Dundalk man accused of growing cannabis plants without a licence

A 45 year old man accused of growing cannabis plants without a licence is to have his case dealt with at Dundalk Circuit Court.

Jack Kerry with an address at Manydown Close, Red Barns Road, Dundalk had already also been charged with having cannabis for sale or supply as well as the unlawful possession of cannabis, MDMA and cocaine on April fifth last.

He is also accused of having cannabis and MDMA for sale or supply – where the drugs had a market value of 13 thousand euro or more.

Mr. Kerry is now further charged with engaging in possessing property that is the proceeds of criminal conduct – €30,575 in cash, knowing that said property was the proceeds of criminal conduct

After he was told that the DPP had directed prosecution on indictment, Judge John Coughlan adjourned the case to the 27th of February.
