Dundalk local election candidate Garvey praises Council for swift flood action
Local Sinn Fein election candidate Eugene Garvey has praised the efforts of Louth County Council to combat flooding in Dundalk.
Flooding in areas such as Maxwell Row and St Nicholas Avenue were dealt with within hours this week after serious rainfall in the town.
On social media today, Garvey highlighted the rapid response from Louth County Council, by showing before and after pictures of the areas affected.
He also went on to say that the rapid response to these issues by the council is greatly appreciated by local residents.
